AP Psych

Today, we continued discussing the different kinds of neurons that are present in the human body. We also identified and discussed the different kinds of neurotransmitters that are involved in neuron communication. Those interested in the process of neuron communication should go to this website to learn more-warning it is VERY scientific. Next, we identified the different segments of the Central and Peripheral Nervous Systems and their purposes in the body. Finally we ended class with an experiment trying to elicit a response from the autonomic nervous system. The results will be posted here later.

Honors Psych

Today we completed the experiments that the students created Tuesday. They went well, and will have results tomorrow. After, we finished our Psych Family Tree projects and briefly reviewed chapter 1 for the quiz tomorrow.
